Tara and father were visiting one of Tara’s uncles.
Aunt warmly welcomed Tara and father.
“Come in, come in” she said putting her arm around Tara.
They walked into the living room and sat down.
Uncle Kanishka joined them as then.
Uncle’s two year old son Shan was watching TV.
When he saw Tara and father he turned towards them.
He pointed his first at them and shouted.
Tara was a little taken back.
“Stop it Shan, stop it” Uncle ordered his son.
Tara’s father smiled.
He called Shan one to his side.
“Are you angry with us?” Tara’s father asked kindly.
The two year old shook his head.
“Then why did you shoot us?” Tara’s father asked again.
Shan pointed his finger towards the TV.
Tara’s father looked at the TV and saw that he had been watching a war- movie.
He turned towards uncle Kanishka.
“Why are you allowing Shan to watch war moves, Kanishka?” he asked uncle.
“Small children should not watch violence” he added.
“Yeah, I should stop him” uncle answered guiltily.
He picked the remote controller and knocked off the television.
Shan started howling.
Tara’s father gave him a little bag.
“See what we have brought for you” he told Shan.
Shan found a nice red colour toy car in the bag.
He smiled and started playing with it.
“Where are your manners?” uncle asked.
“Thank you” Shan said looking at Tara’s father.
What had Shan been watching on TV?
What according to Tara’s father is not good for small children to watch?
What did Shan find in the bag that Tara’s father gave him?
